Fold was performed for five consecutive days at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 with sold out shows. The innovative dance piece explored the endless possibilities of combining paper with movement which received positive feedback on a daily basis from our audiences, capturing people’s imagination to present a moving landscape of paper and dance.

“While paper and dance may appear to be an unusual combination, Dance Kho succeeds in uniting the two mediums in an elegant paralleled harmony.”
– EdFestMag

“If origami is the artistic engineering of paper, dance uses the human body to create the same effect – beautiful shapes. The choreography of ‘Fold’ draws from origami, emphasising the angularity and straight lines of the two dancers. This doesn’t restrict the scope too much: there is stylistic variation, but also variation in quality.”
– ThreeWeeks

“DANCE Kho have worked closely with creator of the paper art works, Stickyline, in the hopes of creating something dynamic onstage. There are indeed times where the shapes created, both physically and with the paper, are visually stunning. Both Ho and Komaru are accomplished and beautiful contemporary dancers and the choreography flows with an organic ease.”
